Sandwich Shop Opens 1st Anne Arundel County Location

A popular sub shop just opened its first location in Anne Arundel County. The eatery also serves coffee from an Annapolis-based veteran.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Italian sandwich shop on Tuesday opened its first location in Anne Arundel County, marking its second restaurant in Maryland.

Capo Deli is now serving up subs in downtown Annapolis at 139 Main St. The eatery replaced Jimmy John's, which closed in January 2024.

The restaurant, located next to Irish Traditions, will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during its opening week.

The menu features hot and cold hoagies, ranging from cheesesteaks and grilled chicken breasts to chicken alla vodka and classic Cubans.

The dessert selection includes Italian favorites like cannolis and tiramisu. There's also an Oreo cookie mousse and banana bread pudding.

Customers can wash their meal down with a cup of Joe from Hook'Em Right Coffee, an Annapolis-based company owned by a retired Marine.
