Country Restaurant Nears Completion In Annapolis
A country restaurant is almost ready to open in Annapolis. The eatery is replacing the old Fuddruckers.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Foodies have been counting down the days until the new Cracker Barrel opens in Annapolis. Finally, there are some answers.
The restaurant told WMAR that it plans to open later this winter. A tentative opening date will be announced in the coming weeks, Cracker Barrel told the TV station.
Cracker Barrel is replacing the old Fuddruckers, which closed years ago, across from the Annapolis Mall. This will be Cracker Barrel's second location in Anne Arundel County.

Rosso Commercial Real Estate Services announced the deal in May 2023 and said it represented the landlord.
Fuddruckers was demolished, and the walls of Cracker Barrel began to rise this summer.

Broker John Rosso originally expected Cracker Barrel to open in late 2024.
Rosso said Cracker Barrel planned to build a brand-new, 9,100-square-foot restaurant with a patio spanning 1,300 square feet.
The 1.35-acre site is located at 175 Jennifer Road in the Annapolis Restaurant Park. The restaurant park spans 12 acres and includes Uncle Julio's, The Lodge, Red Lobster, the Crowne Plaza hotel and Wells Fargo.

Rosso said the firm also brokered Uncle Julio's lease when it replaced Famous Dave's several years ago.
Cracker Barrel specializes in country-style food like chicken and dumplings, meatloaf and roast beef. The restaurant also serves breakfast all day.
The eatery has a country store attached that sells toys, candy, clothing and rocking chairs.
Formally known as Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Rosso said the business has more than 665 locations spread across 42 states.
This will be the 10th Cracker Barrel in Maryland. The others are in:
- Bel Air
- California (Lexington Park)
- Elkton
- Frederick
- Hagerstown
- LaVale
- Linthicum Heights
- Stevensville
- Waldorf
Ryan Minnehan and Jake Levin from KLNB represented Cracker Barrel for the Annapolis lease.
