C-SPAN Visits Annapolis Tuesday

The cable network will dive into Annapolis history and speak with local authors during its week-long visit.

C-SPAN, a national cable TV network, will land in Annapolis Tuesday to film a week-long series of segments featuring the history and happenings around town.

The trip is part of C-SPAN's 2013 cities tour, which is going around more than a dozen US cities to gather information on what makes each area unique.

Guests on the show are scheduled to include Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen, and Sen. John C. Astle.

Stories gathered from this trip will air on cable channels such as Book TV, American History TV, and during a sepcial Annapolis-focused weekend on September 7-8.
