Trash Day Changes In Eastern, Southern Anne Arundel County

The trash and recycling days are changing in eastern and southern Anne Arundel. Annapolis and Edgewater are two of the towns affected.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The curbside collection dates will soon change for many towns in eastern and southern Anne Arundel County. These permanent updates will affect recycling, yard waste and trash collection.

The first changes will come this week. The rest will follow soon after.

  • Churchton
  • Davidsonville
  • Deale
  • Edgewater
  • Galesville
  • Harwood
  • Lothian
  • Riva
  • Shady Side
  • Tracy's Landing
  • West River

Residents can check if their days will change by using this online tool.

The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works said it is emailing postcards to affected residents. This will tell them their new collection day, when the change will start and where to find more information.

"This new collection schedule will improve curbside route efficiencies and the performance of our curbside contractors," the Department of Public Works said on its address look-up tool.
