Dance Studio Reaches Out to Children with Special Needs

A ballet school in Annapolis has launched a new program designed to help children with special needs learn graceful dance moves.

L'Ecole de Danse studio in Annapolis will host an open house session for new customers on Thursday starting at 4:30 p.m. The studio is located at 1906-1A Forest Drive in Annapolis.

The studio recently began offering an Adaptive Dance class for children with special needs. Instructor Kristine Winner has a Master's degree from Drexel University in dance therapy. Prior to moving to Annapolis, Winner worked with children on the autism spectrum in Philadelphia.
