First-arriving firefighters said they saw smoke coming from an open garage bay door.

Crews said they brought the hose into the building and extinguished the flames quickly before it could ignite other cars nearby.

Other responders ventilated the building and checked neighboring businesses for fire and smoke damage, a press release said.

"Due to the swift response of the Annapolis Fire Department, Anne Arundel County Fire Department, and the Naval District Annapolis, the fire was controlled within 30 minutes of dispatch with no reported injuries," the Annapolis Fire Department said in a press release.
