ANNAPOLIS, MD — Gunfire damaged a vehicle Monday evening in Annapolis, city police said.

Officers said they were called around 9:21 p.m. for shots fired in the 1100 block of Frederick Douglas Street. That's located in a residential neighborhood in Eastport.

Authorities said they found shell casings at the intersection of President Street and Frederick Douglas Street.

The Annapolis Police Department also said it found a vehicle tire that was struck nearby.

The investigation into the suspect is ongoing, officers said.
