Holiday Pet Pics: Anne Arundel Furry Friends Dress Up for Christmas, New Year

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The holidays are finally here! Many families are breaking out their Christmas outfits for their four-legged loved ones. Here are some of the cutest Christmas pet photos submitted by Anne Arundel County Patch readers.

Meet Jackson. This 13-year-old Yorkie adventurer loves to travel and do tricks.

A few residents took their pups to meet Santa Claus. Bingo here is enjoying some quality time with Kris Kringle.

Some families are thinking about their pooches who have already moved onto greener pastures. Munchkin is one of those that we are missing. He passed in 2017, but he always loved the holidays. Munchkin was adopted from the Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland.

Check out this 5-year-old Black Lab Mix! He enjoys going on long walks and snoozing afterward.

This 11-year-old domestic medium hair cat is named P. His owners adopted him as a kitten, thinking he had short hair. It turns out he is a big fluff ball! P spends most of his time indoors, but he sometimes catches a few minutes of sunshine on the front porch. During this particular outdoor excursion, P wore a dashing scarf.

Daisey is a 6-year-old Havanese and Poodle mix. This lovable girl is a fan of treats and squeaky toys. She gets along with everybody she meets, including this snowman. Daisey is patiently waiting for Christmas so she can see what goodies she'll get in her stocking.

Bronx is another good boy. This Bolognese is the sweetest little guy. Bronx will do anything for a treat, and he wishes you a Merry Christmas.

One resident mated his male Boston Terrier with a cousin's female Boston Terrier. What was the result? This precious family photo.

Jilly Bean (left) and Tootsie Pop (right) are both French Bulldogs. The girls have fun playing together. Tootsie, 4, rests after their fun while Jilly, 2, gets into trouble. The family's tree has battle wounds from Jilly.

This kitty is living it up in a festive sweater decorated with reindeer!

Chelsea is a 5-year-old Black Lab from Pasadena. Her hobbies include chasing balls, taking walks, going on car rides and barking at passersby.

This doggy is chilling in a cute bow tie!

One cat couldn't wait until Christmas to open presents.
