International blues artist Stacy Brooks performs in Annapolis

Vocal powerhouse and incredible blues entertainer, Stacy Brooks, performs at the Peerless Rens Club on Sunday September 28. This concert series presents some of the very best in blues and jazz talent from Maryland, Washington D.C. area, and beyond.

Internationally known as "D.C.'s Queen of the Blues", Stacy Brooks is a powerful vocalist and exciting performer that has shared the stage with blues legends such as Kenny Neal, Billy Branch, Bobby Parker, and Sugar Blue just to name a few. A multi-award winner, Stacy Brooks performs regularly around the east coast, in Chicago, and overseas.

Washington D.C. is not as well known as a Blues Town, but ask anyone in Chicago, Memphis, Atlanta and Europe when coming to D.C., you must see Stacy Brooks. She has a musical residency at the world renowned venue Madams Organ. From 2013-2016 Stacy Brooks portraying some of her idols, Etta James and Koko Taylor, touring in the Broadway hit musical, "Ghost of The Blues". This has been one of the many highlights in her career.
