Judge Considers Quiet Waters Development Ruling
A decision by the Annapolis Board of Appeals to reject a residential development planned near Quiet Waters Park is being considered by a judge.
A judge will soon decide whether to maintain or overturn a decision on a residential development next to Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis.
Opening arguments were heard from the developers of The Reserve at Quiet Waters at a hearing at Anne Arundel County Circuit Court on Monday morning.
The developers were seeking administrative appeal in the case after the city's Board of Appeals rejected their proposal of a development with 150 homes off Forest Drive.
According to The Capital-Gazette, Ben Rosenberg, representing the developers, told the judge the appeals board made procedural errors in denying the project.
Ray Sullivan, a representative of the residents opposed to the Reserve at Quiet Waters, said the appeals board's decision was carefully considered, and thinks the judge will respect that.
The judge took the case under advisement and could issue his decision within a few days, according to The Capital.
