Jewelry Store Opens 1st Anne Arundel County Location

A jewelry store opened its first Anne Arundel County location. The grand opening will have free ice cream and champagne this weekend.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Jewelry store Kendra Scott opened its first Anne Arundel County location on Friday.

Located in the Annapolis Town Center, the business will celebrate this weekend with free champagne, coffee and ice cream. There will also be donations and giveaways.

The store is highlighted by the Kendra Scott Color Bar, a design studio where customers pick their own stones and jewelry styles. There are also fragrance and watch collections by Kendra Scott, a fashion designer based in Austin, Texas.

"Encompassing 1,360 square feet, the space creates an engaging and interactive retail destination and continues to build on the brand’s core values of Fashion, Family, and Philanthropy," the Annapolis Town Center said in a Wednesday press release.

This is Maryland's second Kendra Scott location. The other is in Bethesda.

The Annapolis store is located at 1915 Towne Centre Blvd., Suite 120. Its hours are:

  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The new location will host these opening celebrations:

  • Friday, Oct. 25 (5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.) — Kendra Scott Annapolis Town Center is partnering with Historic Annapolis and will be donating 20% of event sales back. Supporters who spend $100 will receive a free tote that can be customized with onsite chain stitching by DC Stitches. * Guests will also enjoy complimentary champagne and light bites while they shop. *One tote per person, while supplies last.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26 (10 a.m. to noon) — Kendra Scott Annapolis Town Center is partnering with Rise Up Coffee onsite. Shoppers can enjoy fall favorites from Rise Up while they shop and will receive a special gift with purchase when they spend $100. *
  • Saturday, Oct. 26 (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) — Kendra Scott Annapolis Town Center is partnering with the Annapolis Blues and will be donating 20% of event sales back to Kicks for Kids. Supporters can shop the special event Blues Necklace designed at the Color BarTM. Guests will also enjoy complimentary scoops onsite by Always Ice Cream.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26 (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) — Kendra Scott Annapolis Town Center is partnering with Anna Howard of Purely Chic Home for a Girls Night Out and will be donating 20% of event sales back to The Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. Guests will also enjoy complimentary champagne and bites while they shop.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27 (Noon to 2 p.m.) — Kendra Scott Annapolis Town Center is inviting all residents and businesses in Annapolis Town Center to receive 15% off their purchase. Guests will also enjoy complimentary champagne and bites while they shop.
