FERNDALE, MD — One lane will be closed overnight as pavement repairs are made to westbound I-695 near Exit 5 (MD 648) in Anne Arundel County, the Maryland State Highway Administration said Thursday.
Starting at 8 p.m., crews will temporarily close the right lane on the inner loop of I-695. Workers will remove a deteriorated concrete section and pour new concrete.
After concrete curing time, crews are scheduled to open the lane for travel no later than 5 a.m. Friday, weather permitting. During the work, contractor Team Cam Services LLC, of Linthicum, will use temporary traffic signs, reflective barrels and electronic arrow boards to alert and guide drivers through the work zone.
