Annnapolis Cookbook Fundraises For Anne Arundel Charity Fighting Hunger
A new Annapolis cookbook is raising money for a Maryland charity. The book teaches local recipes and fights hunger in Anne Arundel County.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A new Annapolis cookbook will teach local recipes while fundraising for a Maryland charity.
Proceeds from the book, called "Naptown Food: Dine Out In Annapolis While Eating In," will support Feed Anne Arundel. This nonprofit fights hunger and helps eateries by paying them to prepare meals for residents in need.
This is the second edition of the book. The first version debuted in March and raised nearly $7,000 for the charity.

This copy includes more than 40 recipes for entrées, cocktails and desserts from Annapolis-area eateries. Some of the restaurants featured are:

Food photography is her passion, but Press also loves animals. The Anne Arundel County native is additionally selling a 2022 Annapolis dog calendar to benefit the SPCA of Anne Arundel County. Press said she is on track to donate more than $1,000 to the organization.
"This project is really about community," Press stated in a newsletter about the calendar. "All the dogs are local, all the places we photographed are local, all the sponsors are local, and even the printer is local!"
The $25 calendars are on sale at daniellewpress.com/calendarorders. Shipping is also $5 for every two items.
