Latest Pop-Up Shop Opens Friday in Annapolis

Fashion-lovers and trend-setters, get ready—the newest pop-up shop is set to open Friday.

Pop-up shops are temporary retail outlets that highlight a trend or theme. Two friends from Arnold, Amy Fresty and Ellen Lunay, started their own pop-up shop in February called Here, which specializes in unique clothing, jewelry and art.

Previously, they've opened shops with spring and summer themes around the Annapolis area, including downtown and Spa Circle. A portion of proceeds goes toward local charities.

The latest pop-up shop will be located at 509 Cherry Grove Rd. at the Village Green Shops off Forest Drive. The location will be open from July 19-28.

The theme this time is Lazy Days of Summer. The duo is scheduled to host an opening party at the new location on Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Fresty said the two were very excited about the lineup this time, which includes clothing from designer Cat Reinheimer, who just won the Maryland Fashion Designer of the Year in the category of "established, ready to wear."
