Siblings Chris Hartman and Liz Rawlings started the festival together to bring live music to their hometown, WTOP reported.
“Coming out of COVID, we were really missing live music,” Rawlings told WTOP. “It was great seeing music on Facebook and streaming; however, we were just missing getting out there and seeing live music, so we said, ‘Why not start a festival?’ … We love music and go to San Diego for festivals and go to concerts all over the area, so we thought, ‘Why not Annapolis? Let’s do something in our hometown.’”

Hartman and Rawlings keep it local at the festival.
The two stages, Chesapeake and Magothy, are named after Maryland waterways. Food vendors include Always Ice Cream Company from Annapolis and Calvert Crabs from Prince Frederick.
This has helped the festival grow.
WTOP said the first year drew a crowd of 2,500. Nearly 10,000 are expected this year.
Tickets are still available. Full weekend tickets start at $185 plus fees. Day passes start at $55 plus fees.
