Lighting Strikes 2 Men in Annapolis
The men were apparently struck by lightning late Wednesday night.

Two Annapolis men were hospitalized after apparently being struck by lightning on Wednesday.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department Division Chief Keith Swindle said units responded at 8:45 p.m. to the Bay Ridge Community Beach in the 100 block of River Drive and found two individuals in cardiac arrest.
Bystanders started CPR, Swindle said. Fire officials transported two men, a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old to Anne Arundel Medical Center with serious and life-threatening injuries—where they remain this morning.
"It it presumed the injuries sustained by the two men were from a lightning strike," Swindle said.
