MD City Named To Best Christmas Town In America List

ANNAPOLIS, MD — If you're looking for a place close to home to get into the holiday spirit, one Maryland city is among the best Christmas towns in the United States.

The writers at Travel + Leisure released a list last week highlighting the 25 most charming towns to visit during the holidays. From Maine to California, the list includes cities from all corners of America.

In Maryland, Travel + Leisure writers think Annapolis is worth visiting during the holidays.

"This military town along the Chesapeake Bay does plenty of pomp, circumstance, and tailgating during the holiday season. Annapolis boasts a plethora of Christmas lights, notably strewn on boats and along the water's edge.
