Naval Museum Closed Mondays Due to Sequestration

The Naval Academy Museum will no longer be open Mondays due to sequestration furloughs, according to a press release.

The museum, featuring artifacts on U.S. Naval history, will be closed Monday throughout the rest of the summer. It remains open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. until its closing in November.

"This change is due to the impact of sequestration mandated furloughs on our civilian workers. It is expected that the museum and exhibit will return to normal hours Sept. 29," according to the press release.
