2 New Businesses: Art Gallery, Medical Spa Now Open In Downtown Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An art gallery and a surgery spa both opened recently in downtown Annapolis.

Art Gallery

Annapolis Pearl Gallery opened on Nov. 16 at 32 West St. across from Rams Head Tavern.

The gallery replaces Wine & Design. The Wine & Design website no longer lists the Annapolis location, and that store's phone number is no longer in service.

Pearl Gallery is hosting its grand opening on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The business will raffle off a chocolate and art basket worth $500. Raffle tickets are $5 for one and $20 for five.

The owners encouraged shoppers to stick around afterward for Annapolis' first Midnight Madness, a shopping event on the first three Thursdays of December where businesses are open late.

Paintings, photographs, laser-cut wood and fused glass are all on sale at the gallery.

"We have an awesome gallery of 13 local artists. Great gifts for all your friends and family. Very reasonably priced gifts. We have everything from ornaments to wall art to jewelry. You name it," Julie from Pearl Gallery said on Facebook Live on Friday.

Surgery Spa

Sullivan Surgery & Spa held its grand opening at 201 Main St. on Nov. 20. The medical spa is sandwiched between Joss Cafe & Sushi Bar and Ron George Jewelers.

Sullivan replaces Wheat, a Danish children's clothing store that recently moved across the road to 188 Main St.

This is Sullivan's third location. She has another office in Annapolis at 130 Admiral Cochrane Drive, Suite 300 and a spa in Easton at 1 Goldsborough St.
