Annapolis police are searching for five suspects believed to be involved in an assault and robbery Tuesday night.
The incident took place in the 100 block of Brightwater Drive in Annapolis at about 10:30 p.m., according to a police report.
Police said five unknown suspects pushed the 27-year-old victim to the ground, then punched and kicked him. While the man was being assaulted, one of the suspects took his wallet, then the group fled on foot.
After police arrived, a K-9 unit was used to track the suspects with no results.
The suspects were described by police as each having a tall, thin build, and were last seen wearing black shorts and black shoes.
