Police Arrest Teen Suspect in Thursday Shooting
Damian Stocks was charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder in the shooting of Brian Williams on Thursday, Annapolis police said.

Annapolis Police have arrested a 17-year-old from Annapolis for the shooting of Brian Williams on Thursday.
Damian Stocks, 17, of Annapolis, was arrested by Annapolis police and charged as an adult with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a felony, and several handgun violations, according to police records.
Williams was visiting family in the area of 1400 Tyler Avenue on June 27 when a man approached him with a handgun and shot him in the torso before fleeing, according to a release from the Annapolis Police Department.
Stocks is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond, according to police.
Williams was released from the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the torso.
