Police Make Arrest in Crownsville Garage Burglaries
Police said Glen Burnie resident Brian Tholen is responsible for a series of garage burglaries that occurred in Crownsville in April and May.

Police arrested a Glen Burnie man who they said is responsible for a series of garage burglaries in Crownsville in April and May.
Brian Lawrence Tholen, 27, of Glen Burnie was arrested May 13 at his Forestdale Avenue residence and charged him with burglary, theft and destruction of property.
According to a release from police, during the course of investigation officers identified Tholen as a suspect and obtained a search warrant for his home. During the search, detectives said they found items stolen from multiple residences throughout the county, police said.

As of 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Tholen was being held in the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on $175,000 bail.
The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information on the burglaries or Tholen to call Detective Dutton of the Western District at 410-222-6155 or Detective Bethea of the Northern District at 410-222-6135.
