Police: Man Takes Cash, Purse and More in Armed Robbery at Gas Station

The suspect fled down McKendree Avenue after robbing the Oceanic Gas Station on West Street, police said.

Annapolis police said a man armed with a handgun robbed a gas station Friday morning on West Street.

The suspect was described by Annapolis police as a black male, approximately 40-50 years old, with a light beard, and was last seen running down McKendree Avenue.

The suspect entered the Oceanic Gas Station at 1207 West Street at approximately 7:45 a.m. armed with a handgun, and took the station attendant's purse, cash, cigarettes and a cellphone before running away, Annapolis Police Cpl. Amy Miguez said.
