Annapolis Police Report 6 Burglaries in 24 Hours

Jewelry, video games and cell phones were taken from five homes and one business between Thursday and Friday, police reported.

A total of six burglaries were reported by Annapolis police between Thursday and Friday, according to police reports.

  • Unit block of Bunch Street—Between Thursday at 2 p.m. and Saturday, a locked shed was broken into, but the owner was unsure if anything had been taken.
  • Unit block of State Circle—Between Thursday and Friday, money was taken from the business. A front window had been broken to gain entry, according to a report. 
  • Unit block of Edelmar Drive—On Friday, a laptop computer and a digital camera were taken from an apparently unlocked residence, police said.
  • 1300 block of Tyler Avenue—On Thursday, two flat-screen TVs, a DVD player, a laptop and two video game consoles were taken from an apparently unlocked residence.
  • Unit block of Heritage Court—Between Friday and Saturday, a cell phone was taken from a residence. Entry was gained by forcing open a ground floor window on the front of the home, police said.
  • Unit block of Hearthstone Court—On Friday, a safe containing money and jewelry, prescription medication, two video game consoles, and games were taken from an apartment after the front door was forced open, police said.
