Police: Thieves Plunder Unlocked Cars Throughout Annapolis
Backpacks containing thousands of dollars of items, and a wallet were taken from unlocked vehicles this week, Annapolis police said.
The following thefts from vehicles were reported this week by the Annapolis Police Department in its Friday morning briefing.
Monday, Unit block of Fairhope Court—A green and black backpack was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Tuesday, 900 block of Windwhisper Lane—A backpack containing an Apple Macbook Pro, a Verizon MiFi device, a leather wallet, headphones, digital camera, money and sunglasses was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Wednesday, Unit block of Abney Street—The passenger side window of a vehicle was smashed, and the vehicle's title was stolen from the glove compartment.
Wednesday, 200 block of Hilltop Lane—A wallet was taken from an apparently unlocked vehicle. The vehicle's window was left partially open.
