Police: Two Armed Robberies in Two Days Near Forest Drive

Police are searching for a man who robbed the 7-11 on Forest Drive at gunpoint early Wednesday.

The suspect wore a black mask and pointed a gun at a store employee, demanding money, according to a police report. The incident occurred at 2:50 a.m. in the 1500 block of Forest Drive.

After the suspect was given money, he fled on foot and police were unable to locate him.

It is the second armed robbery in the area in two days for Annapolis police. On Monday at 4:45 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint on Bens Drive, near Forest Drive, according to a police report. The man took the victim's money and walked away.
