Pusser's Opening Baltimore Dock Bar After Annapolis Restaurant Closes
Pusser's will open a Baltimore dock bar after its Annapolis restaurant closes. Here's when boaters can sip a Painkiller in Charm City.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Pusser's Caribbean Grille will open a Baltimore dock bar in spring 2025, continuing its Maryland legacy after its Annapolis location closes this month.
Known as Pusser's Landing, the waterfront restaurant will be open year-round in Canton's Lighthouse Point Marina. It will replace Drift Bar, the marina's floating dock bar and indoor eatery.
Chesapeake Bay Magazine first reported the news Saturday. CBM said Pusser's shined a spotlight message announcing the new location on the side of its building during the Annapolis Boat Show.

"This location offers a great waterfront value given the docking capacity," Pusser's Co-Owner Chris Townsend told CBM. "It will have a similar feel to what Pusser’s has always been. We will be true to the brand, serving our world-famous Painkillers, fresh squeezed orange crushes, and a mix of local and Pusser's staple fare."
CBM reported that the new location will span more than 15,000 square feet, more than double its current location. The indoor restaurant will seat over 300 customers and the floating dock bar will hold 200, CBM said.

Lighthouse Point said Pusser's is an "iconic restaurant" that's "known for its island vibe" and "Caribbean-inspired dishes."
"Get ready for fresh seafood, tropical drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere perfect for your boating lifestyle," the marina said Sunday on Facebook.
Pusser's announced in October 2023 that it would close in autumn 2024. The restaurant said it opened in 1994 inside the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel on a 30-year lease. The hotel didn't renew the Pusser's lease, the eatery said.
The incoming tenant, Atlas Restaurant Group, will replace Pusser's with an upscale Italian chophouse and a tequila bar. Atlas will also renovate and expand the site's banquet room to welcome 350 guests.
The Italian restaurant will be named Marmo. The Mexican cantina will be known as Armada. The eateries will both overlook Ego Alley in downtown Annapolis. To see sketches of the forthcoming Marmo and Armada, read Patch's preview story.
Last fall, Pusser's said it hoped to eventually reopen in an undetermined location nearby. That wish will now come true.
Pusser's Annapolis is going out with a bang.
The eatery sold off its decorations, including everything from $400 19th-century photos of Annapolis to a $15,000 model ship. There was also a $12,000 Oxford University rowing team boat from the 1920s and a $10,000 figurehead from the bow of an English ship that's over 200 years old.
CBM said Pusser's will throw an all-day party on Oct. 27 with live music and DJ sets. A 6:30 p.m. final toast and an evening set by local musician Tim Metz will close the event, CBM said.
The last day for Pusser's Annapolis is Oct. 31.
The opening date of Pusser's Baltimore is not yet certain. Lighthouse Point Marina said it will be ready "in time for the 2025 season."
