"Find Your Chesapeake B.E.A.C.H.

It’s time to be thinking about beaches, or as the Chesapeake Conservancy’s Senior Vice-President of Communications, Jody Couser, would say, the Best Experience Anyone Can Have! Jody has spent the last couple of summers doing reconnaissance on over 100 beaches throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Along the way she learned that Chesapeake beaches have their own individual reasons to visit again and again – places like Buckroe Beach, Savage Neck Dunes, Grandview, Chippokes, Cherry Beach, Dameron, Myrtle Point, Big Stone, Aquia, “a little beach on the Rappahannock,” and more. Check out Quests for Sandy Toes to follow Jody’s beach adventures and help you scope out which ones you’d like to visit yourself."
