Student, 9, Found with Knives at School

Annapolis police arrested a nine-year-old and charged him with possession of a deadly weapon on juvenile citation after he was found with two knives at summer school Thursday, according to a report.
The student was attending Tyler Heights Elementary School for the Summer Academy. According to a police report, a knife fell from the student's pocket during a class. It was confiscated by faculty and he was sent to the office.
The blade was described as a folding knife, about 6.5 inches in length. When an Annapolis police officer arrived, another knife was found in the student's other pocket. The blade was identical to the first, according to the report.
The juvenile was placed under arrest, and ultimately released to his mother, according to the report.
