Tree Falls On Apartments, Displaces 4 Annapolis Families

A fallen tree damaged two Annapolis apartment buildings. Four families were displaced, officials said.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Officials said a large tree fell and damaged two Annapolis apartment buildings, displacing four families this weekend.

No injuries were reported.

The Annapolis Fire Department announced the news Sunday at 12:16 a.m.

Crews said they were called to the 200 block of Farragut Court. That's located just off Hilltop Lane in the Admiral Farragut Apartment Homes community.

Both buildings were evacuated, and inspectors were notified.
