MARYLAND — The holidays are nearly here and one of the most cherished traditions for Maryland families is getting that annual picture of the kids or Fido with Santa Claus.
Malls are a popular and reliable way to get that special photo, so Patch has compiled a list to make planning that outing a little easier.
Here are some places to get a picture with Santa, as well as dates, hours and other available details:

Anne Arundel County
Don't miss Santa pictures at Arundel Mills. Santa will be at the mall's Dining Pavilion starting Nov. 18 through Christmas Eve. Hours vary by week. A complete list of hours is available online. Walk-ups are welcome but reservations are encouraged.

A sensory-friendly event with Santa will also be held on Dec. 8 from 9-10:30 a.m.
Santa will be in Marley Station Mall center court starting Friday, Nov. 29 through Dec. 24. Santa's hours vary, but a complete schedule by day is available on the mall's Facebook page. Santa will also feed his reindeer from 3-4 p.m.
Visit Santapolis, a magical holiday experience located next to Crate & Barrel. Photos with Santa are available now through Dec. 24. Hours vary by week. A photo time can be booked online.

Santa will be at Mondawmin Mall starting Nov. 27 through Dec. 24. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Christmas Eve hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-ups are welcome, but reservations can be made online.
Pet nights will be held Dec. 2-3 and Dec. 9-10 from 4-7 p.m.
Baltimore County
St. Nick arrives at Eastpoint Mall in style during the annual Santa Arrival Parade, scheduled from 12-2 p.m. on Nov. 23. Bring your cameras for free photos with Santa during the event.
Visit Santa this holiday season at The Shops at Kenilworth. Get your photos with Santa now through Dec. 24. Hours vary by day and week. Walk-ups are welcome, but registration is encouraged.

Step into the festive world of Santa Claus this season when you visit him at Santa’s Workshop in Center Court. Fill out your Dear Santa letter, take your annual photo and drop off your letter in Santa’s mailbox. Reservations are encouraged but not required. Full hours are available online.
Pet photos will also be available on Mondays through Dec. 16.
Howard County

While Beltway Plaza hasn't announced dates and times for photos with Santa in 2024, last year's photos took place from Nov. 29 to Dec. 24. Reservations and information were available on this website.
Information on photos with Santa at Bowie Town Center has not been announced. Check the mall's Facebook page for updates.
The Mall at Prince George's (Hyattsville)
Photos with Santa will kick off on Nov. 16 and continue through Dec. 24. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Extended hours will be available starting Dec. 13. Walk-ups are welcome but reservations are strongly recommended. Make your reservation online.

Mark your calendars for the annual tree lighting with Santa at Towne Centre Laurel. The event will be held Nov. 23 from 6-8 p.m. and features a special performance by the Laurel High School chorus, an ice carving demonstration, games and crafts, and free cups of hot chocolate and cookies. Bring your cameras and capture memories with Rudolph, the Toy Soldier and Santa himself.
