GLEN BURNIE, MD — Two people were taken to area hospitals when police said they were attacked by a Pasadena man armed with a knife in separate assaults.

Terry Lamont White, 52, of Pasadena, was arrested early Tuesday after Anne Arundel County Police said he cut two men and threatened to kill one about 1:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Faywood Court in Glen Burnie.

Investigators said a man and woman were seated in their vehicle when White approached them and asked for a cigarette. When they didn't have one, White punched the 41-year-old man and cut him with a knife, then fled.

A short time later, a 44-year-old man in his home heard glass breaking and found White had entered the apartment through a window. A police news release said White — who was carrying a knife —charged at the resident and threatened to kill him.

The resident was able to subdue White but suffered cuts on his arm and torso during the struggle.
