Anne Arundel Schools Change Schedule On Dec. 15
Anne Arundel County Public Schools have made a weather decision for Monday, Dec. 15, classes. Here's the latest.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — All Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late on Monday, Dec. 15, as the region digs out of weekend snowfall.
At 5:30 p.m. Sunday, school officials posted the schedule change to allow for safer walking and driving conditions, particularly in neighborhoods and on side streets.
There will be no morning half-day ECSE classes, no morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South and no transportation to NJROTC programs, the district said.

According to the National Weather Service, as of 2:30 p.m. Sunday these official snowfall amounts were measured in the county:
- Odenton 2.3 inches
- Crofton 2.2
- Deale 2.1
- Annapolis 2.0
- Parole 2.0
- Annapolis 1.8
- Chelsea Beach 1.5
- BWI Airport 1.0

- On the AACPS Alerts automated telephone, email, and text message notification system. Email and text messages are sent as soon as possible after decisions are made. Phone calls on the same morning of a schedule alteration are sent beginning at 5:30 a.m. When decisions are made the night before a school day, calls are sent as soon as possible.
