Roommate Argument Escalates To Stabbing: Police
An argument between roommates escalated into a stabbing, with one person taken to a hospital, Anne Arundel County police said.
BROOKLYN PARK, MD — An argument between roommates escalated into a stabbing with one person taken to a hospital, Anne Arundel County police said.
Officers were called to a residence in the 4000 block of Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn Park about 11:40 p.m. Saturday for an assault. The police report said a 57-year-old male victim argued with two of his roommates.
The altercation escalated when one of the suspects — Travis Kice, 44, of Brooklyn Park — grabbed the victim while the other roommate assaulted him with a knife. The victim was taken to an area hospital with a stab wound to his torso.

Police identified the attacker as Michael Steven Haynes Jr., 50, of Brooklyn Park.
Both suspects were arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
