Best Crab Pretzels In MD Hailed As 'Quintessential Taste' Of Old Line State
These are nine of the best crab pretzels in Maryland, Eater said. They were hailed as a "quintessential taste" of the Old Line State.

MARYLAND — In Maryland, we're known for our crabs and our Old Bay. We've used the seafood seasoning in everything from vodka to hot sauce and Goldfish.
Old Bay is also used in another creation: the crab pretzel. These oversized soft pretzels are topped with crab dip, cheese and Old Bay.
Eater DC, a news outlet covering the area's food scene, on Monday named nine of the best crab pretzels in Maryland.

"The origins of the filling favorite are unclear, and a few mid-Atlantic restaurants claim to have invented it," Eater said in its write-up. "But there is no dispute that a warm soft pretzel makes the perfect vessel for holding a large dollop of mouthwatering crab dip topped with melted cheese and an Old Bay dusting. It’s a quintessential taste of Maryland in just one bite."
Eater suggested that foodies try the crab pretzels at these restaurants:
