Big Vanilla Arnold Converted to Greater Annapolis Family Center Y

The Big Vanilla in Arnold recently went through a change in ownership to the Y of Central Maryland, and the signage along Ritchie Highway recently changed faces to reflect that.   

The Y took full ownership and management effective Sept. 19, but the signs took a little longer.

The Big Vanilla originally opened in Arnold in 1977 as  a tennis and racquetball club.  Since then, the business grew into a multi-purpose, family-focused, sports, wellness and recreational club.

Located on Ritchie Highway adjacent to Anne Arundel Community College, it is a fixture for anyone in the Arnold area.
