Bites Nearby: Sushi

Sure, here in Maryland, we’ve got seafood. Our crabs are famous and our oysters and bluefish are renowned. But nobody does seafood quite like the Japanese. While crab shacks may outnumber sushi houses in local neighborhoods, we still have a variety of eateries serving up sushi.

Sushi can be intimidating if you've never had it before - a surprising number of people haven't! While it might seem like an odd recommendation, I suggest trying out the eel, or unagi. It's got a texture and flavor similar to chicken wings, making it fantastic for sushi newbies.
