County officials are looking for volunteers to join a transportation commission to improve Anne Arundel County's transportation system.
“We are fortunate in Anne Arundel to have an engaged citizenry who are motivated to learn more about issues facing the County and provide input to improve our quality of life,” Neuman said in a release Wednesday. “I am very impressed with the level of citizen volunteerism and participation and I look forward to the Commission’s recommendations.”
Over the next four to six months, the group will get background on the county's transportation infrastructure and make recommendations to Neuman on ways to create long-term improvements.
Interested volunteers 18 or older are asked to email a letter of interest and a resume to George Cardwell at atpzcard44@aacounty.org by Aug. 1.
