Dog Stabbed During Home Invasion, Robbery Attempt In Anne Arundel County: Police
A dog was stabbed by a home invader in Anne Arundel County, police said. The suspects also demanded drugs and money from the residents.

CURTIS BAY, MD — A home invader stabbed a dog during a robbery attempt this weekend in Curtis Bay, county police said.
Officers said they heard about the encounter Saturday around 12:30 a.m. in the 8100 block of High Point Road.
Authorities said the victims reported that two males, both armed with handguns, approached one of the victims while he was standing in front of the home.

The suspects then rushed the first victim and forced him inside the home, police said.
Officers said the suspects then forced all the other occupants into the living room, where they demanded drugs and money.

The suspects entered a bedroom and started destroying property, authorities said.
Police said that's when the family's dog started attacking the suspects, and one suspect stabbed the dog with a knife.
Officers said the suspects, who wore masks and all black clothing, fled the home in an unknown direction.
The dog was taken to a veterinarian hospital, authorities said. Detectives expect the dog to survive.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still investigating.
