DTLR’s “12 Days of Tinsel” Holiday Pop-Up Opens at Arundel Mills Mall

DTLR commemorates the launch of New Balance's new and exclusive Tinsel shoes with festive in-store activities from Dec. 4-15

HANOVER, Md. (Dec. 4, 2024) – DTLR, one of the country's most successful lifestyle retailers with nearly 250 stores in 21 states, is teaming up with New Balance to celebrate the holiday season with the "12 Days of Tinsel" pop-up activation at its newest location in Arundel Mills Mall. From Dec. 4 to Dec. 15, these festivities will highlight the launch of its newest Tinsel collection, an exclusive limited-edition, holiday-themed line of New Balance sneakers reimagined with shimmering metallic finishes and vibrant reds, while bringing holiday fun to the community.

Located in a specially curated and decked-out space directly across from the DTLR store, the pop-up shop will host daily events that bring holiday cheer to shoppers with purchase of any Tinsel collection product:

  • Gift wrapping and holiday treats: Wednesday, Dec. 4 (4–8 p.m.) and Friday, Dec. 13 (4–8 p.m.)
  • Hot chocolate bar and holiday treats: Thursday, Dec. 5 (4–7 p.m.) and Monday, Dec. 9 (4–7 p.m.)
  • Heat press for customized totes and poster giveaways: Friday, Dec. 6 (4–8 p.m.), Saturday, Dec. 7 (2–8 p.m.) and Sunday, Dec. 8 (12–6 p.m.)
  • Ornament decorating and holiday treats: Tuesday, Dec. 10 (4–7 p.m.) and Thursday, Dec. 12 (4–7 p.m.)
  • Caricature artist and holiday treats: Wednesday, Dec. 11 (4–7 p.m.)
  • Family photos: Saturday, Dec. 14 (2–8 p.m.)
  • Exclusive holiday movie screening, gift wrapping and face painting: Sunday, Dec. 15 (12–6 p.m.)

Additionally, those who purchase any product from the Tinsel collection will receive special gifts, including two movie tickets to the holiday screening on Dec. 15 and a limited-edition poster with any apparel purchase, or two movie tickets, a poster and a customizable tote bag with the purchase of the new Tinsel sneakers.
