State Del. Don Dwyer, who was convicted last month on drunken boating in a 2012 incident, is in hot water again for actions on Sillery Bay.
The Capital Gazette reports Dwyer, a Pasadena Republican, was cited for crabbing on a Wednesday, when most recreational crabbing is banned.
A Department of Natural Resources official told the paper the restriction is intended to limit the harvest, but has not stopped the crab population from decreasing.
Dwyer was convicted last month on the drunken boating incident and sentenced to 30 days in jail. He is appealing. Dwyer's attorney told the paper the citation would not affect the appeal.
