Police: Fight Leads to Stabbing in Jessup
Police arrested one suspect after a man suffered injuries from the stabbing.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Jessup man after an argument led to the stabbing of a man early Monday.
Shortly after 1 a.m., police responded to a residence on the 2900 block of Jessup Road for a reported fight. A witness told police that a man had been stabbed, but had transported himself to the hospital.
Witnesses also told police that the suspect had fled before the officers arrived. Officers eventually located the suspect nearby.
Police arrested Jairo Renato Morales, 23, of Jessup and charged him with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
The victim took himself to Howard County General Hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.
