Fire Closes Pasadena Senior Activity Center Through Friday
Fire has closed the Pasadena Senior Activity Center for the rest of the week. Authorities are assessing damage and working to reopen.
PASADENA, MD — A fire Wednesday has closed the Pasadena Senior Activity Center for the rest of the week. Authorities are assessing damage and working to reopen, according to the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
The center, 4103 Mountain Road, was damaged during a fire. No one was hurt; all staff and center members were evacuated safely. Damage assessment and evaluations are ongoing and a plan to reopen is being formulated, the department said.
Members are encouraged to visit other centers for programs while the Pasadena Senior Activity Center is temporarily closed. All other centers will be operating on a normal schedule on Thursday and Friday.
