According to the National Weather Service, Anne Arundel County residents can expect scattered thunderstorms most of the week and into the week of July 8. Here's a rundown of local Fourth of July festivities and fireworks shows.

Mostly sunny with isolated showers and thunderstorms during the day. Highs in the lower 90s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Mostly cloudy with scattered showers in the evening. Scattered thunderstorms, mainly in the evening. Lows in the mid 70s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Wednesday, July 3
Partly sunny in the morning, then mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 90s. Northwest winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent. Numerous showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then scattered showers after midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the mid 70s. Northwest winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
