Historical Trust Gives Grants to 2 Anne Arundel Nonprofits

Two Anne Arundel County nonprofits each received more than $10,000 in grants from the Maryland Historical Trust.

The state agency announced Monday the Hammond-Harwood House Association would receive $12,950.25 to restore the eponymous Annapolis house, built in the 1700s. In Odenton, $11,160 was awarded to the Odenton Heritage Society for the Old Masonic Hall.

The Odenton award was the smallest in more than $150,000 in grants announced statewide as part of the Historic Preservation Grant Program.
