House Fire in Pasadena Causes $50,000 in Damage
It took about an hour for 25 firefighters to get the blaze at Bedford Road under control.

Firefighters responded Monday night to a fire at a house in the Riviera Beach area of Pasadena.
The blaze started at about 7 p.m. Monday and firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire coming from a single-story home at the 8400 block of Bedford Road, according to Division Chief Keith Swindle of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
It took 25 firefighters about one hour to get the fire under control. There were no reports of injuries.

Swindle said the cause remains under investigation but appears to be the result of unattended cooking. There was a reported $50,000 in damage to the home.
