Male Who Set Home On Fire Found Dead Inside: Anne Arundel County Firefighters
A male set a house on fire and then took his own life, Anne Arundel County firefighters said.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A male intentionally set a Glen Burnie home on fire and died after a self-inflicted gunshot inside the house, officials announced Monday.
This is not considered a fire fatality because of the manner of death.
Firefighters said the blaze happened early Sunday morning in the 800 block of N. Shore Drive.

A neighbor called 911 to report the fire around 3:20 a.m., and first responders arrived about five minutes after being dispatched.
Crews said they found the single-family home fully engulfed in flames and had to set up a defensive fire suppression operation.

A team of about 45 firefighters said they had the flames under control by 3:55 a.m.
