Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Anne Arundel County Shooting

According to police, the shooting happened in Brooklyn Park around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 14.

BROOKLYN PARK, MD — A Baltimore man is facing charges in connection with an August shooting in Anne Arundel County.

Lavior DeAndre Johnson, 20, was arrested Friday and charged with attempted murder following the Aug. 12 incident, Anne Arundel County police said in a news release.

According to police, officers responded to a shooting in the 5200 block of Patrick Henry Drive in Brooklyn Park around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 14. When officers arrived, they learned a 29-year-old woman got into an argument over a parking matter and then went into her home. Police said she heard several gunshots before calling 911.

Responding officers located three shell casings and one live round on the ground. No injuries or damage were reported.

Authorities later identified Johnson as the suspect. He was taken into custody at a residence in the 700 block of North Grantley Street in Baltimore and also charged with a weapons violation.
