Man Shot Dead in Home on Chapelview
Police said a 19-year-old died in his home on Chapelview Drive from gunshot wounds to the upper body. They do not believe the shooting was a random act.
A 19-year-old man was shot dead in his Odenton home early Tuesday morning.
Anne Arundel County Police said they came to the the 1300 block of Chapelview Drive at about 3:35 a.m. after residents reported hearing gunshots in the area.
They found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. The man died at the scene.
Witnesses reported one man running from the scene, and police are investigating.
Police said they do not believe the shooting was a random act of violence. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
