Mission BBQ To Honor Korean War Veterans July 27
Veterans who served in the Korean War will be honored by Mission BBQ July 27. There are locations in Annapolis, Glen Burnie and Gambrills.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Korean War veterans will be honored for their service by Mission BBQ on July 27. Mission BBQ has locations in Glen Burnie, Gambrills and Annapolis. Korean War veterans will be treated to a free sandwich on that day.
July 27 is “National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day,” a day when several nations signed an armistice securing peace on the Korean Peninsula. Mission BBQ will play the National Anthem at noon.
"In remembrance of the 'Forgotten War,' we wish to honor the brave men and women in service from that era and show our sincere appreciation. We thank them for their continued dedication and loyalty as well as the sacrifices they’ve made to keep our country free," the company said in a statement.
